The Schlossruine Hertefeld is the only inhabited castle ruin in Germany. It offers imaginatively furnished rooms, apartments and suites. All rooms feature extra-long beds, tea/coffee facilities and a CD player. A varied breakfast is served in the Hertefeld’s historic vault each day. In warm weather, guests can also enjoy breakfast outside in the castle gardens under the trees. The hotel offers rental bicycles for exploring the Lower Rhine countryside. Free parking is available on site, and the A57 motorway is just 5 minutes away.
